In 1984, Marie Bak was fortunate to have been sponsored and mentored by one of Minnesota’s foremost businessmen. Curt Carlson of Carlson Companies was supportive of women-owned businesses, and despite being busy building a $20 billion dollar company, took the time to get Marie started in business with her first commercial janitorial account.

SDQ’s services have expanded to disaster clean up, furniture and millwork maintenance, carpet and window cleaning, supplying toiletries and even commercial moving and storage services. |
